Journaling has long been recognized by healing professionals, researchers and creative writers as one of the most effective ways to reduce stress, gain clarity and overcome creative blocks. In this six-week class based on the work of journal therapy pioneer Kathleen Adams, you’ll explore 18 unique journaling techniques that will add color, perspective, and dimension to your reflective writing.

With the help of these journaling tools, you can gently but powerfully explore the various aspects of yourself, your life and your relationships with others. Thousands of people who have benefited from this workshop series agree: Journal writing is a joy!

Instructor Bio: Solanna Anderson MA, PhD (ABD) is a certified Journal to the Self Facilitator, through the Center for Journal Therapy in Colorado. She is passionate about creating welcoming spaces for writing to be shared in community and has over 10 years of group-facilitation experience. Solanna has worked internationally with the UN, women’s peace groups and conflict resolutions organizations and sees journaling as an invaluable way to engage more fully in life and bring about both inner transformation and broader social change.
